3rd term activities

Hi everybody!! 🙋 I hope you are enjoying your summer

We’ve worked really hard, learnt a lot, and had a lot of fun! Here I show you some of the activities we’ve done.

4 and 5 years old

This term these grades have shared some topics. 

For example, we have talked about pets.

We have also been learning about parts of the body. 

They really enjoyed this tale and songs!!

Then, 5 years class created their own monster and practised some speaking.

                                      

Finally, as they went to the farm and they really loved it, we started learning the vocabulary related to it. We worked in cooperative groups, we listened to amazing songs and we played different games!!

1st grade A

We started the term with a topic they love: animals. They learnt a lot about them thanks to different games, activities and videos. 

1st grade A has also been learning about TITANIC (which has been their project’s topic). We focused on the clothes they wore at that time; but also we worked to know a true hero that helped a lot of passengers: Molly Brown. 

Work in process

On the other hand, 1st grade B started the term learning about fruits. So we used the well-known tale: They very hungry caterpillar. 

Then, they learned about clothes and, definitely, their favourite activity was the CATWALK.

2nd grade A

In 2n grade A we’ve been very busy learning about the Moon and the Moon landing. They have worked really hard to learn about this topic.

Here’s what they knew at the beginning.

However, not everything we learnt has been related to their project.  

As well as 2nd B, they have been learning about free time activities, parts of the house and pets.

As you see, summer holiday are well deserved!! It’s time to relax, to go to beach, to spend time with friends and family… 

Finally, I would like to say that it’s been so nice to spend all this time with you, and I hope to see you soon again!!

AS YOU KNOW 3rd, 5th AND 6th GRADERS HAVE BEEN WORKING ON OUR DISNEY PROJECT, AT SCHOOL. SO, IT'S TIME TO SHOW YOU THE GREAT RESULT!!!

- In Cooperative Groups, we started working on a written work. We did Listening, Reading and Writing activities through a Disney Story we chose before: Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmatians, The Aristocats, Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Lion King, Snowhite and Pinocchio.

- To finish we did a presentation on our work (Speaking activity) showing our partners our 3d-project, lap-book, puppets, little theatres or pictures (arts and crafts activity).

- We did an Exposition with all our works.

 Hii girls, boys and families!!!!!

 I hope you're having a wonderful looong weekend!!!

I want to show you some of the activities and topics we have been talking about lately. Let’s take a look!!

4 years old kids have learnt a lot about school objects with a lot of games, activities, songs and tales. Here there are some of the videos and games they have played! I hope you like them!!

5 years old classes learnt about the house and the furniture. We learnt the vocabulary thanks to these videos and the interactive worksheets: "Where is the toy?", "Parts of the house" and "Home,sweet home"

They are also working in groups, bulding their own houses! Look how nice they are!!

1st grade A has been learning a lot about our human body with these nice songs and a lot of cooperative activities!

1st grade B has been reviewing some of the vocabulary about past units (family, parts of the body and toys). And… here’s a gift for you! Here’s the memory you’d love to play!! 

Currently we are focused on speaking, learning how to ask for material to the classmates and learning manners.

Finally, 2nd grade has been working hard and also in cooperative groups on the 5 senses. They have practised all the skills: speaking, writing, listening and also grammar! Here are some pictures of the smelling activity, which they enjoyed a lot!!

I'd like to say that 2nd A has to finish this unit with a really nice activity: a kahoot!! So here are some videos that might help you review these days, in case you want to do so😉
